ILLUMIER was founded by J. RYU in the heart of Paris in 2014, with a profound desire to create light through its creations.

Influenced by Pablo Picasso, Serge Poliakoff, and Karel Appel, J. RYU blends the concrete with the abstract, drawing inspiration from her childhood in South Korea and her unique perspective on the world.

The artist’s vision is expressed through architectural and contemporary designs, supported by her expertise in garment construction, developed during her fashion design studies in Paris.
